POSTERS AND MY CONTRIBUTIONS
“More 2 Life”
More 2 Life is a Talk/TV show created and produced by Jon Cruz. The producer next to the actor Breeze, hosted the program. I took over the responsibilities of directing it, leading a group of over 9 people. By being placed in a control room, with the help of a headset, I was guiding 3 cameramen on set to ensure we were able to obtain the best angles from the conversation. The program concluded after the recording o 6 episodes. It is currently in its last stages of post-production, finalizing a series of 30-MINUTES episodes.
“The Sketchy Type”
The Sketchy Type is a short film by Derrick Christie. This is the story of the owner of a local and public art center whose academy suddenly goes bankrupt after facing some unforeseen circumstances. Although he can start charging for his services, an important promise does not allow him to do so and he must find a way to keep the art center afloat. I was the director of photography (DP) for this film. I focused on recording mainly in one set location, giving me the challenge to obtain a variety of shots within a reduced space.
“Son of A Man Coming on Clouds”
Son of a A Man Coming on Clouds is a short film that I produced and directed. Is based on a critique on society in which often any individual who achieves fame in a big scale presumes that any law is no longer something that affects them. Even further, it states that the fandom of such individual easily claim to “knows” them due to how the famous person is being portrayed in the media. However, the camera often only captures the good side of someone, leaving any questionable behavior on the side, mainly on purpose.
“Poster Child”
Poster Child is a film from the directors Dani Villaseñor and Megan Bodmer. This was their Senior Capstone project previous to their graduation. I was the director of photography (DP) for this film. This project gave me the opportunity to utilize my alma matter, Trinity College, as the setting for the development of the film. By doing so, next with the directors, we created a shot list that allowed me and the actors perform with the level of energy required for different scenes.
