Born and raised in Escuintla, Guatemala. Since an early age, I began my journey in the audiovisual world, recording my first short films in a second hand Sony Ericsson phone that my father gave me as a gift. From using toys to having my own sister as the main character of my films, my fascination for making movies was always highlighted by my thrill to tell a story. At the age of 18, I moved out of my home country and embarked in an academic journey that have permitted me to pursue my filmmaking career. I aim to promote Latin American empowerment with my films, by demonstrating that anyone who comes from outside of a Western country can also be successful within the film industry.
